The Currently Hot K-Pop Post!

I’ve been so behind on music lately, both Korean and Japanese. I probably have around 4/5 months worth of downloading to do and you bbz know that means like 30 singles and like 10 albums with how constant the releases are~

Anyway, I have managed to keep up with my favorite groups like 2NE1, Momusu., SNSD, 4minute, Queen Ayu, etc. but as for the other artists, I’m totally lost. So I decided to just get a look at what’s new these days in the K-Pop scene. To be honest K-Pop is a bit weak right now since like everybody is in Japan outselling Momusu and stuff.

Let’s have a look at the actual decent stuff K-Pop is offering right now~

I honestly lost interest in 2PM right about when they went to Japan. I just stopped caring for their music and thought it all sounded the same. Today was my first time listening to “Hands Up” and it seems they still have that same sound. Fortunately it sounds good this time around since it’s a lot more upbeat this time around and I actually like it~

Oh and Chansung, I’ll put my hands up(your body) any day you sexy beast.

Oh hey my fierce 2NE1 bitches owning that stage just as naturally as SNSD’s faces~ 2NE1′s music has kind of come under a formula lately, which is really repetitive. In this case it’s good ’cause “I Am The Best” is damn catchy but in “Try To Follow Me” it didn’t really work out(that song can really ruin your day, trust me). I never posted on how Bom couldn’t move her face in her “Don’t Cry” video, but it looks like the botox has finally loosened a bit~

Let me just start by saying that their is a god in the K-Pop world that has been listening to my prayers! My girl Boram finally got lines. :’D Anyway, I’ve really missed T-ara since I was so in love with them during their IGCBOY/Bo Peep era. They tend to make really good music, but they’ve been flopping lately with “yayaya” and now this disco shit. I really only like three things about this song:

1. That fine-ass intro.
2. The instrumental/anytime there is no singing.
3. The dancing also when there is no singing~

It’s not that they can’t sing(…) but it’s just boring.

Further proof that anything 4minute related will forever be fierce, hot and sexy~ I’m not gonna lie, I thought this song was disgusting at first, like Hyoyeon eyebrows disgusting.

Thank god for that sexy PV! After watching Hyuna’s ass(and cellulite) shake for 30 minutes straight, the song grew on me, as did my love for her hot background dancers(the guys, obviously). I’ve seen the song get a lot of hate, mainly due to Hyuna’s new tan(I prefer her milky white, but I’ve grown to accept the orange) and that Hyuna obviously has talent when it comes to shaking her ass / being slutty / stealing all the jelly haters boyfriends and letting them pop her bubble~

Girl’s Day isn’t usually a group I’d give two shits about but lucky for them someone linked me to their video from Twitter and I was quite pleased~ So far from what I’ve heard, all their songs sound exactly the-fucking same but it’s catchy so w/e. What caught my attention from this group was their awesome way of promoting their MV on YouTube!

The video is sort of a story but you get to choose what you watch! You can start here but the best part is the game version of the MV where you get to know about each girls personality through a fun story and entertaining Engrish dialogue like “Where is here?”and “Let have a bite to eat.”. Let’s not forget having your camera stolen and not knowing how to eat! :D
