Team Ayu vs Kuu’s Bitches
Something big is going down September 22nd, and it doesn’t include Hikki’s fatass. On that date, the “(ex)Queen of J-Pop” Hamasaki Ayumi and the top slut herself, Koda Kumi will both release a single!
Koda Kumi will release her 48th(jebus…) single, Suki de, Suki de, Suki de. / Anata Dake ga, which includes all ballad tracks(this’ll be fun) and my dear Ayu will release her 49th single(always one step ahead~) crossroad, the second part of her “50th Single Project”(a.k.a. the countdown until Ayu’s eyes explode).
Meanwhile that fat cow Utada will be taking two haituses at once! Nakashima Mika predicts that Utada will release her 22nd single(and she has just the same amount of time in the music business as Ayu[minus one year...]! Quality > quantity?]) in 2014.
While I’m not looking too forward to any of the two singles(Ayu vibrato and same-old arrangement bore me), I’m more excited to START the wait for Hikki’s haitus to end after she releases that fucking best album.
So things are going to get heated next month. Even though it’s more than a given that Ayu will get the #1 spot(unless, you know, a Johnny’s group decides to join in~) but are you a member of Team Ayu or one of Kuu’s Bitches? TEAM AYU FOR ME!

I’m also so excited for Hikki’s new stuff! *-* Gurl said she’s planning on releasing some more stuff this winter before ending her activities officially, and I feel like this hiatus will be good for her :’) My gurl never disappoints (And that Hikki lazy picture thang is awesomeness). She never takes a decision this big for nothing ~
I hope Kumi hits #1 next month -v- Even though she probably won’t T3T 3 epic ballads in one single is richness ♥ A million artists are releasing material that day, right? o.o Even Maki’s best is scheduled for that day ~ It’ll make for juicy future posts -v-

Hikki’s break saddens me but also has me excited. 4 or 5 new songs on her Best Of album? YES!
It’s hard to believe that Hikki has HALF the singles of Ayu. x.x Jeeeez.
While we’re talking about 50th singles, Morning Musume’s should be here in probably… 2 years. Lol. I like to think ahead. Jeez, I wonder what Momusu (and H!P in general) will be like in 2 years?!

I’m one of Kuu’s Bitches, but only because I like the sluts more, and because I new of Kuu before Ayu.
I hope Koda Kumi goes #1 because someone need to knock Ayu off her pedastal…oh wait, Namie already did that.
I’m on team Ayu, but mostly because I think Koda Kumi is talented and I don’t like the fact that she uses her sex-appeal to sell.
I have been hearing that avex will change the dates of the release though.. Do you really think they will go head to head? Wouldn’t it be disastrous if Koda broke Ayumi’s string of number one singles?
It would be, but VERY unlikely. xD Plus, I’m sure avex has it planned so that on Ayu’s release week, she’ll be sure to get #1…

count me on team ayu, I’m not a big fan of kuu though I like some of her songs. But I’m definitely joining the ones waiting for hikki :D
Kuu bitch I am. Nothing against Ayu but Kumi songs hold my interest longer than Ayu, Kuu had great tie-ins and yes she works the slutty-ness like she worked that bathroom dirty dancing pv (you know the one).

I’ve always been an Ayu fan and let’s face it: Kodu Kumi only has 3 types of marketable images (the slut, the ballad lady and the super fun pop girl), while Ayu always invented herself again and again.
Team Kumi but they both need a break like I said before. Please Utada come back at least next year or make an announcement that you’ll be back before 2014 cause that’s ridiculous.
