4Minute Releases Gibberish Version Of Muzik!

If you’ve been out of the 4minute loop, don’t worry, you haven’t missed much. All they’ve been doing is flying around different countries and delivering lackluster, boring performances of MUZIK to increase their popularity.

They have released one thing however. That’s the “Japanese” version of Muzik(released under 4Minute instead of the Korean version “4minute”). Initially I was excited, I mean, a 4minute release? The thought alone makes me feel all giddy inside.

Then the covers were released. I only enjoyed the black version above as the other ones had them hiding behind curtains(what?) and HyunA’s body looking really… flat. Then the tracklist was released, in which we found out that the only new track would be the new version of Muzik. It was accompanied by previously released stuff.

So then we get the PV preview. Unlike most K-Pop groups, they made a new video to match the new song.

Sounds pretty cool right? Plus, HyunA in a blond wig is TOTAL WIN.

The single leaked yesterday and I am just in LOL mode right now. WHAT LANGUAGE IS THIS?!?!?!

I’m not fluent in Japanese, at all, by any chance I know like some words and phrases but the GIBBERISH that 4Minute is saying in the song has me totally confused. It’s like someone told them their line, they sang that line, they told them another line, etc…

I seriously can’t make out any Japanese words AT ALL. I THINK that’s “doki doki” during the chorus but anything beyond that is like a mix of gibberish+Korean+Chinese.

Here’s the full version for your lol’ing pleasure~

My favorite line is definitely: “so groovy nikal stlyisnipol slike it like it”

I might have heard ‘Minna’ in HyunA’s rap, but that’s about it.

I wonder if they’re flunet?? Probably not, considering this release :/

I always preferred Hot Issue over Muzik. but it seems Muzik has more English in it (maybe that’s why they picked it to promote)…

the nippon parts are really… hahaha. the adjectives coupled with it do not help.

Well first off most of this song is actually in English. For the most part it’s not that they don’t know how to pronounce these words, it’s that this song is so inundated with autotune that it’s difficult extract one syllable from another. Although I am not fluent either, the pronunciation of a lot of the words in the second verse seems a bit “off” to me… like they’re singing with a strong Korean accent. Anyway I enjoyed reading this, especially before my impending AP test =D
